    Online visa registration - eConsulate

Consulate General of the Republic of Poland issues two types of visa:

    I. Schengen “C”-Type visa:

"C" visa which is for a stay up to 90 days within 180 days in the Schengen area,

"A" visa which is for transit through transit area of airports located in the Schengen territory.

The visas can be issued either as single, double or multiple entry visa. The double or multiple entry visas can only be granted for frequent travelers (for example businessman with previous Schengen visas) or when an applicant has attached the documents (ticket reservations) proving that he/she will be leaving and re-entering the Schengen area during the planned trip.

    Please note:

The multiple entry visa is not necessary if you plan to travel within the Schengen area only.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:

    1. The Schengen visa procedure requires a personal submission of  the  visa application since 10 fingerprints  are collected from persons applying for this kind of visa. 10-digit finger scans are not required from children under 12 years of age or from persons who physically cannot provide finger scans. Frequent travelers to the Schengen Area do not have to give new finger scans every time they apply for a new visa. Once finger scans are stored in VIS, they can be re-used for further visa applications over a 5-year period.

More information on the VIS roll-out can be found under the following link:
